A picture of myself in September 2023 - by Heraclea Foto, All Rights Reserved.
Honestly, I don't have much to say about myself, but I'll try.
My name is Gennaro Cristian Celestino, also known online as cristiangcel. I was born in 2004 and I am a "full-time" Psychology student: a fascinating and complex subject that is always relevant. I have various interests, such as current affairs, activism, writing, and collecting (of various kinds).“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson
In my free time, that is, when I take a break from studying, I manage this small website, which is my personal space on the web, where (as you may have certainly seen) I write various articles on topics of interest related to current issues, showcase my literary works, and publish a variety of content, always linked to my interests and passions.
Also in my free time, I write and publish books independently: in fact, I am also an underground author who offers literary works to a limited audience. I don’t seek fame; I do all this out of passion and prefer that my content be discovered by those who are truly interested in the niche works I publish.
I want to clarify that I am happily de-baptized, meaning I have freed myself from the chains of a cult imposed on me without consent: a very important act, which I discussed in one of my early articles (and which you should do as well). It’s amusing that, for this reason, I have a latae sententiae excommunication hanging in my room, which is quite funny since we are not in the Middle Ages but in the twenty-first century, where no one cares about that.
I am very interested in issues of rights and current affairs, although I do not have a viewpoint based on a specific ideology nor do I align myself politically; rather, I let rationality guide me. For me, the respect for fundamental human rights and what is closest to scientific and social progress are of great importance, as I firmly oppose anything that is oppressive and, at the same time, "traditionalist."
Among my interests related to the "social," I have a strong passion for digital rights and free software: I believe that copyright is a tool that completely hinders the free flow of culture and information, and I strive to use and promote (as much as possible) open-source programs and technologies that respect the user and the community.
That said (and I believe I’ve said enough, at least for now), I want to thank you for your curiosity about me and my content, hoping that I have been to your liking. If you didn’t like me or what I write, honestly, I don’t care: in any case, a strong hug and thank you for spending your time with me and for me!
